2. Data processed
For registered users, Prism Robotics processes the username, country code, email address, password hash (not a plain-text password), verification status, user role and creation date. Temporary tokens are used for email verification (valid for 24 hours) and password resets (valid for 1 hour). Technical hashed identifiers are used to limit abusive attempts. If you opt into the newsletter, we store your preference, the date your email address was verified, and the version of the consent wording.
If you contact Prism Robotics by email, information you voluntarily provide is used to respond. OVHcloud may process connection-related technical information to host and protect the site and investigate faults.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
User account management is necessary to provide the requested user area and prepare access to our services (pre-contractual measures or performance of the requested service as applicable). Prevention of abuse and security incidents is based on our legitimate interest in securing the service. Email correspondence is used to process enquiries. Account creation records your interest in the Impulse Motion beta without guaranteeing an invitation or issuing a licence. Messages required to manage the account or beta request are separate from marketing. Newsletters and promotional launch announcements require separate optional consent, recorded using an unchecked checkbox and email verification.
4. Recipients and retention
Account data can be accessed by Prism Robotics administration and essential technical service providers (including OVHcloud for hosting the database and website, and email service operators for transactional messages).
Account data, including your beta pre-registration and newsletter preference, is retained while the account exists, subject to applicable legal requirements. You can delete your account at any time in the user area or by contacting support; your account data is then deleted. You can withdraw newsletter consent at any time through your account or by contacting support.
Unverified accounts may be deleted after 7 days. Expired tokens and outdated rate-limit counters are periodically cleared once maintenance is enabled. Routine correspondence is generally retained for up to 12 months after the last exchange, with applicable legal exceptions. Hosting log retention follows the OVHcloud service settings.
5. Cookies and third-party services
The user area uses a technical session cookie required for sign-in, not accessible to browser JavaScript and configured for HTTPS. The pages do not embed Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, behavioural advertising or social media widgets.
Registration loads Cloudflare Turnstile to limit automated abuse. This provider processes browser and request-related technical data to assess whether a registration is automated, and may do so outside the European Union; see its privacy policy for details. Links to YouTube and social sites lead to third-party services with their own privacy policies.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable conditions, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection and, where relevant, portability of your personal data. Contact: support@prism-robotics.com. You may also file a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL.
7. Changes to services
If new services involve additional processing of personal data, this privacy policy will be updated before that processing starts.
